    Hi John

I shall take a look into the flights you advise of.

We are going to book a Hotel in London and use the confirmation as further Evidence and it will be in my Lady's name

    Good evening all

I have put the finishing touches to my invitation letter, itinerary and also the letter from my mother to state I am her son and I live in the family home with her etc.

Feedback is most welcome or anything I have missed please shout..

Re: Application for visit visa: [My Lady's Name; DOB; Philippines]

Thank you for taking the time to view my Girlfriends UK Visitor Visa application.

With your kind permission I wish to invite Marie Anne M Adefuin, my Girlfriend to visit me in the UK for a period of 2 to 3 weeks. To meet my friends and family and to travel around the country to show her some of the sights (See itinerary). I have invited her to stay with me from the 7th June until the 28th June.

We first met in June last year and have been a couple since July 2015.

We recently met on the 6th April - 19th April in her home country, the Philippines. We spent a wonderful vacation together and I also met Marie Anne's lovely family. (Airline Tickets included)
We are both in full time employment and the expenses during her stay in the UK will be shared between the both of us.

She will be returning to work as of the 31st of July on the Caribbean Princess Cruise Ship.

Throughout Marie Anne's stay in the UK, we will be visiting various places in the country, staying in Hotels and Holiday parks as well as staying at my family home.

I am not a home owner, I am currently living with my mother in the family home. I have attached a letter from my mother stating I am her son and also provided is the document showing the joint ownership of the property with her partner, Michael Gerrish.

I have attached a itinerary of our travel plans for the duration of her stay.

I will be meeting Marie Anne at Heathrow airport when she arrives and will be personally putting her back on the plane at the end of her visit.

I have enclosed the following documents:

    •• Copy of passport
    •• Copy of Passport Stamp
•• Copy of UK Drivers Licence
•• Copy of my Bank Statement
•• The last 6 months Payslips
    •• Travel itinerary
•• My Airline Tickets from my recent trip to The Philippines
    •• Letter from my Mother

Should you require any additional information, please do not hesitate to contact me.

    Yours faithfully,

    Mr Stephen Lewis

Here is the travel itinerary, I feel it is a little basic, or is this just fine as it is?

    Travel Itinerary
    • Drive to Heathrow airport to collect Marie Anne
    • Then into London for 4 day stay, sightseeing
    • Travel onto Stonehenge for a day visit
    • Drive to Durdle Door in Dorset for an overnight stay
    • Then on to my house for a couple of days to meet my family and friends
    • Next up, a trip to Anglesey in Wales to stay for 5 days before returning to my house for the rest of the trip
    • Personally taking Marie Anne to Heathrow Airport to board her returning flight

If you are supporting your partner's travel and submitting your payslips too, I suggest you have to submit original bank statements. In my case I didn't provide my partner's payslips nor bank statements - only mine. Kindly check what the others would say too.

And last of all is the Letter from my Mother to confirm I am her son and Marie Anne is welcome to stay.

Again, please advise if I need to add anymore to it

    Good Evening Dave and Aisa

Marie Anne and I are sharing the expense of the holiday together, we both have full-time employment and she is providing all her financial documents towards the application.

I can submit 6 months of Bank Statement if helps the cause? If yes, are copies not sufficient proof?

Yes, your gf's and your 6 months recent statements would add weight to your application. :)

I'm not sure with visit visas as I did not provide my partner's statements when I visited the UK but I am certain you need to submit originals when on a settlement route. We might have to check the others' thoughts on this.

Your invitation, itinerary, and your mom's letter look good already - brief and precise. :)

Here's the address to the British Embassy Manila by the way:

    Good luck with your application.

    Thank you very much :)

I am sorry if I sound uninformed, but why do I need the British Embassy Address, VFS Global in Makati, Manila take care of the application and documents.

Or is it because the documents are handed to the British Embassy for ratification?

That is right. VFS is where you submit your completed visa application. They manage all applications and then forward to UKVI. :)

You don't have to include the address if not sure. The letter will be forwarded to UKVI regardless.

Hi Steve just a thought why not instead of a bundle of payslips include your last 2 P60s 2014/15 and 2016 and include only one payslip for the last week or month to correspond with the latest P60s.

    Hi John

I did not think the P60 was officially recognised as a supporting document? Also my employer is a little slow on the P60's this year!

6 months wage slips and bank statements should be acceptable right?

    Hi Steve
I submitted my P60s and year end wage slips so they corresponded also the figures tallied with my employer reference letter.
Although they P60s are not on the list I took the view it was less labour intensive for them and it's a government produced document.
    Yes wage slips are fine.

    Hi Steve,

with my girls vis visa application, i included 6 months wage slips all copies and 6 months bank statements all copies. I did not include P60

Also I included a signed and agreed holiday form from my employer covering part off my Girls vacation period.
