Feels like a long a way to finally submit our spouse visa but it is done she attended manila yesterday and we received an email to confirm our application.

It says on the application that if we get the visa it will be a 30 day visa. Does that mean she has 30 days to book a flight and come to the uk. ?
I thought it might be 30 days to collect her brp at the post office but it says on the application we have to collect the brp in ten days. So what is the 30 days?

I am a little worried that my documents aren't in the right order.I feel this new system of handing documents into Sheffield is a bit flawed. We followed the guidelines and sent our documents to Sheffield a few days before her biometric in Manila. Then after she attends the biometric I receive a email telling me that the documents have to be in a certain order, maintenance, etc.

I don't think I could have guessed the order the documents have to be in, I think they can't be to strict about the order

When your spouse visa application is approved you will have a sticker or a vignette in your passport which is only valid for 30 days. You will have to travel within that time to the UK. Upon arrival in the UK you have 10 days to collect the BRP.

once the visa is issued--she has 30 days in which to leave the filis and enter the UK. dont forget she will need a cfo sticker too after she gets the visa.

I thought I read it was three months from visa issue to travel to the Uk, maybe the laws have changed or this was a different visa. I was hoping to fly out and back with her but 30 days. This may not be possible with work. She will have to fly here alone.

Still I'll be really happy when she comes to the uk, this process has been very stressful.

    What is the CFO sticker?

You apply at least three months prior to your travel to the UK so you might have mixed that up. You have the option to change the date of the visa if you can't travel right away. But it would be a bit of a hassle.

She will need to attend a Pre Departure Orientation Seminar at the CFO in Cebu or Manila (other places do this now as well not sure where though). She needs that sticker. She won't be able to leave Philippines without that.

So the cfo sticker is given after she applys for guidance and counseling programme (gcp) or do we need both the gcp and cfo?

The sticker will be given once the seminar is done and if you have the visa already. No visa no sticker.

Biometric Residence Permit. That's basically the visa that contains all the necessary information. It's a card like that of a bank card.
