congratulations I received similar email from the embassy stating "your visa will be dispatched shortly....". Is this a positive response?
Thank you @Kuya and @aposhark . This brought happy tears in my eyes. After all the heart aches and sacrifices of being away from my husband, finally I will be getting my long awaited hug. To God be all the glory!
hi everyone... can anyone help me.. I'm worry about my visa application. ...I had my biometric on the 3 June 2014...but until now I didn't receive any email or update from the embassy... I'm hoping to hearing from anyone in the forum. ...thank you
Hi jaja. I'm assuming you submitted you submitted your paperworks to VFS? If so, you will receive an SMS/Email whether they have already forwarded your application to the embassy and whether the embassy has already received your application. Nothing more after that. You will then receive another email stating that your documents should be collected ASAP after they have reviewed your application which basically takes 60 days and more. Got mine after 55 days!
Try an email stating the date of submission and asking if they can acknowledge that they have it. They probably do and simply forgot to send the text. Explain that you opted for the SMS messaging but didn't receive that initial message. BTW normally, once they have texted you to say that the application is with the UKBA, one doesn't normally hear from them again until the final decision has been made. Email: ukinthephilippines@fco.gov.uk Telephone+63 2 858 2200 Opening hours: Monday to Friday - 8:00am to 4:45pm Also you can email via this route. Do both. Select Philippines from the drop down box. https://ukvi-international.faq-help.com/
Ours visa was granted today and it took exactly 50 days including weekends and Philippine holidays, the loved one was told it could take up to 3 months when she initially applied. It does say on the VFS site that 90% are dealt with in 60 working days, 100% 120 working days, so its likely you will be waiting up to 60 days. You just have to be a little patient and try your best to get the visa first time.
Thanks, comes to those who wait as the saying goes. We have actually been together for over seven and a half years now so I think its time to finally get together at last
appreciate all the response...I have emailed feedback.ukph@vfshelpline.com, and received a response from them that my application and documents has been forwarded to UK VISA Immigration on the same date I lodged my application.
