Another 6 months of perusing through BF will put you in good stead for when you apply, you will probably find the visa process a little frustrating at times but you will win through in the end. I should be at the FLR stage by the time you apply for your visa , the FLR should be more of a formality I assume because you can use a lot of the paperwork amassed from the Fiancée visa. Time will tell :).

Good luck, and stay tuned in to BF.

It should be. As in a way , all you are really doing is confirming and proving your marriage. Its just a visa extension really. Money for old rope for them.

Yes. I know you can afford it and it is money well spent, but it is a bit of a racket, isnt it.

Yeah, you do feel as if they are taking the micky a little, but as you said, money well spent at the end of the day.

I must say, I would have liked to have got married in the Philippines, it was just the hurdles and the constant changing of the goal posts that put me off.

You will be fine at this stage, as JA said it should be a formality. I've since got to know somebody who went through FLTR then ILTR and both processes were reasonably stress free. She and her husband had no changes to living arrangements, finances and saved all bank statements, utilities and other documentation - the important thing is to have an ongoing record, from start to finish, of all documents in both names. If this is the case then everything will work out smoothly. Just a lot more money to shell out, again, as JA says, money for old rope! Good luck and for your future together, exciting times!
