Is there such a thing? My friend is planning to apply for a visit visa on December this year but her boyfriend's mother suddenly passed away and the family is requesting my friend to be in UK the soonest. Is it possible for her to obtain a visa in less than 2 weeks? Additional Info: She and her british bf are living together. Can't marry yet as my friend's first marriage is not yet annulled. The bf works here in the Phils.
Yes, she can (at fairly vast expense!) use the "fast track" system. can be found here: http://www.vfsglobal.co.uk/philippines/
There's Super Priority Visa Service (24 hours) and the Priority Visa Service (3-5 working days).. The SPV service costs PHP 43,200 on top of the standard visa fee and is only available in the Manila application center while the PV service costs PHP 8,640 on top of the standard visa fee. http://www.vfsglobal.co.uk/philippines/user_pay_services.html
That's the link that I was looking for. She will have to prove that she has a compelling reason to return to the Philippines and I suggest a combination of "I must get back to my job!" (with letter from employer) and "my boy friend works here" (with letter from boyfriend) might do the trick.
Thanks! But even though they opted to that services - SPV / PV , it still does not guarantee the approval of the visa application right?
Oh, and she should make it clear that she is travelling to attend her partner's mother's funeral, of course.
