    I wouldn't be too surprised if next time I flew to Manila they introduced a few more taxes. Landing tax, luggage tax, electric at the airport tax, then perhaps a leaving the airport tax... In fact, forget about security checkpoints, they could just have checkpoints for all the different taxes they could introduce.... :p

    Such a shame, if they invested something into a decent infrastructure, then the jobs created and tax revenues from that would be far better than simply creating new taxes for people who are poor anyway...
