Out of boredom (here at work), I stumbled upon this post and I patiently read most comments.
Nice to read wisdom from our gentlemen here.

Just wondering, what is the biggest age gap we have here? if you wouldn't mind.

He is young at that age - age is a number in my book - I know some blokes in their 50's with more life than some 20 somethings - FACT

It doesn't matter to me if by fate, he is 40 or older. I'm always after maturity. I don't choose guys my age.

It's a strange thing, this Filipino with the old English guy thing.

We fit into that category too,but it's not something that's ever been an issue or even gets noticed with us.

When I met her she was a little whipper snapper of 24. That was fine because I was under 50. I was 49!

She's knocking 30 now. Rapidly approaching her 'best before' date as I keep reminding her. I'm 55.

The only thing with the ages really is that I know I will drop dead long before her and neither of us will cope well without the other.

As I mentioned, there is 5 years age difference between @BlueberryCheeseCake and me.

Whatever age differences there are, is down to the choices of the people concerned and although it could be interesting to try and analyse the reasons why large age differences sometimes exist, it's also likely to generate a lot of hot air.

My own writings on the subject (not our real names - a pseudonym) are archived on this blog here: http://thefilam.net/archives/13860

Oh gosh, it looks as though I've got the record on here....my wife is 26 and I'm 54...
But it doesn't seem to matter, we are good for each other and that's what counts.
