tuberculosis test nhs?

    The mrs got a letter last week stating
    As you have come to the uk from a hight risk country that has tuberculosis... We need you to come for check up etc... It was october 2019 she came!!! So 2 years later!! Did anyone else get a letter when they came here‍♂️

    my wife had TB when she first tried to apply for her fiancee visa. Took 8 months of intensive medication and tests before she was clear. She gets tested here each 2 years to be safe. No big deal--just an xray. Get a referral from her GP. No charge.

    Ahh right ok
    Yeh thr mrs had her tb before she came aswell and was all clear. Just the wording on the letter she had that got me"as you came recently

    Only just read this, As you are probably aware my wife came here shortly before yours, she has never had any TB letter either from her GP or the NHS.

    My wife got the tb test letter. Think it is quite common.
