You could lose a planet if they take this particular risk, there are risks and then there are risks.

Did the German's think let's give this Hitler bloke a whirl and see how it turns out?

Democracy is a double edged sword.

I do not believe personally he is that bigger risk and as we can see from the recent polling in the US a lot of people there would agree with me.

What I am finding is that I'm getting more interested in the Presidential candidates personalities more than what they stand for politically, I sincerely hope the people of the US do not do the same and look upon the Whitehouse race as some kind of reality TV show.

I am afraid the "risk" with Trump is a bit different than whether or not to buy a house o_O

If there is a war like that, it doesn't bear thinking about.

Whoever becomes the next President will be surrounded by level headed advisors that can prevent that sort of thing ever happening, at the end of the day the President is just a figurehead and has to go through congress with any major bills just like Cameron in the UK.

Well, some people here are implying that it will be dangerous for the world if Trump becomes President of the US and that he will fallout with other nations, the only person he has to be concerned about upsetting is ultimately Putin the very chap that could use some of Trumps charisma :)

You know what amazes me about China?

Every country seems to totally disregard their record on human rights and more recently attempts at land grabbing in the name of commerce, I bet there are not many countries who will not do business with them even though they are always being critical of them. The world revolves on greed and money.

China is still and always will be a communist country and in the near future they may pose a threat to the western countries not just the Philippines whether Trump is in the Whitehouse or not :)

Like many films it is far deeper than the surface message, Peter Sellers was brilliant in that movie in all the characters he had to play.

Kubrick never ever did a damn thing that was not layered and in most cases seriously allegorical, it was NOT a simple comedy sir :D

I wouldn't bet that China will always be communist.
They have state sponsored capitalism since the reforms of Deng Xiaoping.
