Totally confused with spouse visa application...help!

My wife passed her IELTS A1 and passed the TB test though it did say abnormal result and to get a check up at her local hospital which is strange as she went to her local hospital before going to Manila and had a check up which said her chest was clear!
I posted a thread "abnormal result" on the Forum and apparently others have had this box ticked. Maybe a member with a similar result can comment?

One question, this is downloaded when you complete the online application ? "signed printed vaf app."

I hope this thread will help others because if I can do this anyone can, I really am a numpty when its comes to anything other than plumbing!

I'm also in the process of researching all the steps and requirements for a settlement visa for my wife. I'm confused about Sheffield? What documents get sent to Sheffield? (first ive heard of it) I was under the impression that my wife submits all required documents in the VFS appointment after online application ?
Can anyone clarify ?

certainly all your sponsorship documents, including wage slips, bank statements--proof of accommodation--copy of your passport--marriage certificate, appendix 2==all goes direct to sheffield. in theory your wife gets her paperwork scanned at vfs manila----but there is some confusion about that in the last couple of days. watch this site !

We just (17th Oct) tried to submitting my wife's documents for scanning at VFS Manila, I'd already sent my documents to Sheffield, my wife was told by VFS that my wife's documents needed to also to be sent to Sheffield. They said if they were to scan them, they wouldn't see them with my documents, and according to my wife, 3 people at VFS agreed this was the case.
