Flights Are these too good to be true? Probably. PIC UK (IATA and ABTA registered) www.pic-uk.com £554 by Kuwait Airlines £583 by Etihad £569 by Cathay Pacific All incl tax Omega (IATA and ABTA registered) www.omegatravel.net/philippines £576 by Saudi Airlines incl tax Fly Cheapest £510 by Cathay Pacific incl tax I think £491 by Kuwait Airlines incl tax I think Etc (We wont be going till after my wifes ILR.) Just seen these in Planet Philippines. The adverts are a bit vague and I would assume they are all from a London airport and I presume return tickets.
You will find that those prices will not be available, due to a variety of excuses. All booked up... More than 10 people traveling... Blah, blah, blah...
On may I found such prices or even cheaper on cheap-flights.co.uk.. I rang travel agent and they explained that it is all fake.. They have no control over prices being added to that website and annoyingly many people have rung them to book a return flight for £489 with KLM.. I booked my return to Manila from Manchester for 650 with Etihad which is not bad (etihad website).. Going next week!! I wanted Malaysian Airlines but ticket more expensive, flight only from London...
PIC are usually pretty good. For me, price in itself is not the key decision factor. I'm quite happy to pay extra to travel with a carrier I like and with connection times I want and an overall schedule that suits me. Not forgetting departures from a UK airport that's good for me. If I was solely price driven then I'd fly from Heathrow with a stopover of 10 hours in Dubai or Guangzhou and a baggage allowance of 18kg
