I am not ready to apply for another month but I am flying to cebu next week so windered if i should take my docunents with me to phillippines for my wife to hand in or are they posted in the uk?

wage slips / bank statements are time sensitive--have to be within 28 days of the online application.

They're not posted in the UK so it is wise to bring the documents along with you.

Will i have to show my decree abosolute from my old marraige in 2001, i did hand these in to the embassy for our marraige license

Take the bulk of the application with you then DHL the financial documents over to the Philippines later, as bigmac states, the financial side of the application needs to be no more than 28 days old at time of online submission.

Yes, you need the original for the settlement application plus copy, very important.

Are you one hundred percent i need an orginal? Can i just send a copy?
I flew just to manila embassy and handed the orignal in for marraige license in august so there is no way i could have been married without it

I'm going to see my wife at the end of april and i was going to ask a similar question..Im intending to complete the evidence of the relationship section and take it to phil so it will save on the weight at DHL when i send the other time sensitive documents..
