Hello again, Question, is the 28days ruling is for the supporting documents under financial requirement only apply? Thank you again. Janey
do you mean the time limit on docs like bank statements ? or the time limit you have to send them in after the online application ?
So only means the bank statements can no longer be older than 28 days old...how old can the rest be then? I thought all had to be withing 28 days
no the last one so currently say you submitted the application 1st june you would have December 2018 (1 month) January to April 2019 (4 months) May 2019 but a date later than the 2nd of May when printed
Oh right that's ok I guess. So say I get my later from housing association can that be older than 28 days or as got be within it?
So my bank statements have to be within 28 days of the date to post with a bank stamp from the UK to get to my spouse in the Philippines to include in the spouse visa to hand into the Manila office, not much time, hope Royal Mail do a good price for this delivery.
most recent bank statement has to be dated within 28 days of the online application. why are you sending your supporting docs to the philippines ?
If you will send your document to PH dont use Royal Mail as it will take ages. Try other courier service like DHL 3-4days at delivery time from UK to PH. Experienced when I submitted my documents, one of my original certificate is bigger than A4, VFS asked for a photocopy instead of the original to be scanned.so the original might disregard of it is bigger than A4.
Go into any large WH Smith they have a DHL counter you can get a document delivery box and leave the box with them you will get a tracking number and can go on their website to track your parcel 6 to 7 days delivery
Thank you for the advice, I will use DHL and not Royal Mail, close call I was going to use Royal mail , I was checked the pricing for royal mail. I was asked above "why are you sending your supporting docs to the Philippines ? ". This is what I get confused on for evidence as in banks, payslips signed and stamped, birth cert etc. As I have not completed the online spouse visa for my lady yet, I thought I had to post all my evidence to her in manila to bring to the manila visa office. But reading on other pages about uploading to website while in the UK. hmmmmm . I will read more pages on the forums dated 2019 to see what is happening. Thank you for the advice on Royal Mail again.
i know it all changed again earlier this year. first you could scan your supporting docs then upload them yourself to the UKVI site--thus saving the ridiculous nightmare of sending anything to the philippines* but more recently i THINK you can avail the services of VFS or Sopra Steria who will scan and upload for you--while you wait--at one of their offices. ( for a fee of course ) HOPEFULLY another member here will chip in and confirm or correct me if ive got that wrong. * when my fiancee applied from the philippines i had to get my docs to her--this was 2015. luckily her sister ( settled in the UK ) was going home for the xmas holidays--so she took it all with her.
