Sala Bistro or something like that I think, I've not been to it in Greenbelt but I would definitely go to it.

Old location was at the Adriatico end of Nakpil however google is showing it as further up Nakpil street on the other side of Taft now, maybe that is a second current location? They had left the original location back about 2007-8 and we tried to find them but never managed it

Sadly you won't find a good Indian in Manila :( I've tried, if you ever do find a good one let me know!

It's odd too because there are quite a lot of Indian people in Manila, next time I am there I am going to try to find a good supplier of Indian spices so I can make my own.

Apparently the indian in Olongapo "Rama mahal" is supposed to be good. Not been for many years and I think its changed location since we where there last. You also like to make curries from scratch, think we'll try to hunt out spices etc when I'm home next. I'm fairly sure I've seen them in the royal Mall on SBMA.

I can get most stuff in the supermarkets there but it is hard to get ground and whole Dhania (Coriander seed) and Jeera (cumin seed) and mustard seed is hard to get too, Turmeric can be found but not easily, apart from that fresh chilli's and ginger are obviously easy to get, can also be hard to get good quality fresh Coriander leaf although I have found it once or twice (they call it Cilantro over there same as the Americans).

There's supposed to be an Indian grocer somewhere in Mabini was planning on starting to search there next time I am over, I fancied making a mild version of my Kashmiri Chicken curry (Pineapple version) for Nanay I think some of the family might like that one, generally they are not fond of curried food.

Looks a bit more expensive than it used to be, but the food was up there with the best I have had anywhere in the UK and the steak was in a different league to anything else I have had in Manila.
