Hello we applied for my wifes spouse settlement visa april 1st nearly 80 days and no decision is anyone else waiting for such a long time They contacted us to say we hadnt filled out appendix 1 and wedid luckily we copied everything twice
At least you have had contact from UKVI asking for the missing documents... We began our application for a Fiancée Visa on February 14, 2018 (today is Day 100!) and we have had NO contact from them whatsoever, except the auto-response 'fob off' emails. I know of at least 1 other application on here that is beyond the 100-day point! I'm guessing you chose the Spouse Visa route instead of the Fiancé(e) route - or is this an FLR (M) application?
I feel your pain mate this is our first spouse visa settlement for 2.5 years As we are married already Its so hard
So your Spouse is still in the Philippines? That must be even harder than being unmarried and apart! It could explain why you have been waiting so long - getting here, as a Fiancé(e) or Spouse, is by far the most difficult and long-winded part... FLR(M) and ILR seem to be much more of a formality! After all, the Government's/UKVI's objective is to prevent as many applications as possible from being successful, or delay those it cannot prevent for as long as it can...
My wife has just had a sms saying ukvi decision has been made and they are sending her passport back to her so its bad u have to open passport to see if
