Hi this may seem like a dumb question.

I have read through the great list of all the documentation, English tests TB tests etc we need for the spouse visa, we have got all this together. What I don't understand is if I download and print the forms online and fill them do we still need to do the online form?
Also on UK Visa website it talks about post or premium in person service, I thought no matter what you had to go to VFS to submit in person?

Sorry this may seem dumb but all the docs we need I have got and we have everything almost in place, it's just this part I don't understand.

You fill it in online then print it out getting an appointment for the VFS, submit the form along with your VAF4a2 financial requirements form and supporting documents in person. There is a premium service, you pay a little extra which basically means you don't have to queue with the majority of people and gives you access to a photocopier and the like.

Ok thanks for that, here goes this process, main delay may be our Marriage cert, we are marrying in Jan we will apply for Advanced endorsement but are getting married in quite a remote location so hope it's not too much hassle to speed up

Remember to copy all the important documents you submit, you will then get the originals back when you receive the visa decision.

Thanks yes that's brilliant along with the lady who got her's in 20 days and her list of stuff.
Every bit of criteria I seem ok with, only the House I'm staying may be a bit of a problem, I've stayed here years on a very loose agreement, we are just doing some sort of tenancy agreement which my landlord who's also my friend will more or less make up as he really couldn't care who stays here it's a massive flat but he pays all the bills.

Anyway I've got my first block, looks like we will have to fill this form when my Fiance gets her new passport next month as one of the first questions it asks is passport number I imagine the hell we'll go through if this app has her old number on it and even if we put the old passport in the app they'll still refuse it.
So looks like we will have to fill once we get her new one, it's just expiring.

Please remember that it is extremely important to convince the UKVI that the flat you will be stopping in inside the UK meets their requirements.

    Tenancy Agreement
    Council tax bill
    Floor plan
    Photos
Permission from landlord to stop there
Number of bedrooms and people sharing with you

More detail the better, you will not get the visa unless you can satisfy the UKVI that everything is in order relating to you residing there.

Yes will get as much as possible the Council tax bill will be under Landlords name we have 5-6 bedrooms with only 3 of us staying there.
I'll do some photos not sure about floor plan I might have to make this bit myself.

This is the only bit that I have to really concentrate on, we have a long relationship, well over the financial requirements, she has stayed at the same flat twice before on visit visas we have evidence of our 4 year relationship.

But will get this part sorted as much as possible, typical application problem I see 10 people sharing a 3 bed flat, we have a massive flat that will live in for a couple of months till I rent somewhere for just the 2 of us. But I won't even mention this as they'll say what other flat where?

You're right, don't give the UKVI any information whereby you could hang yourself so to speak :)
