When do I receive my documents back from Sheffield? Is it when we get a decision on the visa? We applyed for a spouse visa.
There is no 'standard procedure' as far as I can tell... Ours is a Fiancé(e) application and so far - Documents received by UKVI on 6th March and I received them back on 6th April. As far as I can see, they weren't even touched during the intervening 4 weeks! I have read of others on here getting their documents back within a week! No way of knowing how long we will wait for a decision...
Ah ok we payed the fees on March 9th Documents received on 19th of March. So hopefully we will get the documents back soon. Ah god such a stressful time.
It is stressful and many of us here had to go through the agonizing wait. Try to keep busy and not worry too much.
