Well I had to give up on the road trip to Spain idea.
Two weeks wasn't enough time to be over there so we have booked flights/hotel in August to Mallorca.
We will be in a quiet area away from the most of the tourist areas with "Full English Breakfast" signs everywhere.
I just hope we will be with lots of Spanish families so our kids will get a better flavour of Spain.
My Spanish is pretty good so no dramas on that score.
Our kids have always greeted my wife and I with "Hola" instead of "Hello" since they were about 5 or six years old.
I am so happy that we can finally travel again as a family; we haven't been away for ten years and they were still in nappies back then! In fact the last time we had a holiday, they poo'd into my scuda diving bag. :poop:

We cancelled the idea of going to the Philippines because of the high flight costs.
    Onwards and sideways :)

Renewing the kids' passports was a pain in the posterior as we had moved house into a different part of England and witnesses needed to know the kids for two years etc..
Renewing my passport was relatively easy.

    Where's the paella?
