Nothing happens but you may find her getting work from frightened employers difficult and of course if current Government policy continues landlords may join in.

Its a nuisance at best if the missus wants to do other than manage the home and you would need to keep you evidence of economic activety for at least 5 years when she would become eliglable for P.R. foriegn travel will also require thought as air carriers wont cooperate.

I am not suggesting this only saying there is no requirement
