Now I've been in Bute many times, nice wee bit of the Costa Clyde as it became known in the 1970s but the heyday of the Clyde was late 1940s to the late sixties before foreign travel took off. Had many holidays in Rothesay and in Millport on the Cumbrae, but I spent the largest amount of time in Lamlash on Arran.
Yes we had something like ten or twelve Honda S2000s parked in the car park at that point. Found the picture ten of them. (edit: mine was the yellow one ) On reflection I might have taken that earlier picture from the Bridge looking the other way from the second shot below. Looking the other way.
