Wow! Dean Smith fired today, Daniel Farke yesterday, Nuno last Monday, Steve bruce 10/11 days ago, Watfords manager also gone, plus several in the Championship ie Neil Warnock, Mick McCarthy both of them having been around since the Ark, I will be very surprised if we see either of them again, but back to the latest sacking Dean Smith had lost 5 games in a row and his talisman Captain Jack Grealish had been sold for big bucks, Aston Villa it seems wanted instant success with the replacements that they had brought with the Grealish money, 2 of them have had injuries ie Ings and Bailey whilst the 3rd has been in and out due to having International commitments for Argentina, so Smith has rarely if ever been able to play the Team that he wanted but has paid the price of being in danger of relegation though they wont go down.
Who is next ?, personally i think Solksjaer is hanging in there by his fingernails, Manure results have been far from good, the longer Ole stays in charge the longer Man United will be amongst the also rans, because they are light years away from Challenging the big 3.

Ole will last the season I think! Woodward the CEO leaves prior to Christmas with on potential replacement being publicly mooted I think the board will wait till after this appointment.
Ziddane or Poch may come in in the summer.
Utd need to get rid of Pogba.

I still fail to understand why they got him. He never impressed me as a great player.

I will be amazed if he lasts the season, its a results business and unless they improve there League place his position may become untenable, The Woodward replacement will probably want his choice in as manager, somehow i doubt it will be Zidane. Its not only Pogba that needs to go United are carrying a lot of deadwood on high salaries, the defence is as porous as a colander, Lindelof is not top class, Bailly and Maguire inconsistant, as are Shaw and Wan Bissaka, as for the rest Ole simply doesnt know his best team nor how to manage them.

Thought Shaw was playing well apart from the City game.

Paul you seem pretty hung up on Utd and there current woes!
Ole will do the right thing by Utd.
Woodward stands down this month or next and I can't see United board having no manager or interim while it doesn't have Woodward replacement in place.
Who is there out there anyway? We saw what happened to Nuno when he went to a big club.
United still in Europe and currently 6th in the table things can turn look at Arsenal!
Your wrong about Shaw Maguire and Wan Bissake, what United lack is a leader with a voice on the field and a playmaker.

Seems like Utd have a communication problem at the back - maybe a couple of big egos in there in the form of Maguire and Shaw...

I always thought Pogba was a bit lazy but when he decides to play he can turn the match.

John, Hung up on the current woes of United ?, No the facts speak for themselves when you look at what they have spent and the players that they have, there can be no doubt that they should be doing better than what they are doing, At the end of the day some may say its down to the players individually they are mostly top players but getting them to play as a team is proving to difficult, players like Martial, Rashford, Greenwood, Lingard, Sancho, Cavani, Ronaldo added to Fernandes and Pogba, therein may be the problem how do you keep all of them happy, and get them playing as a Team ?.
With regards the manager i dont think Ole is the man for the job, he has had plenty of money to spend. yes they are still in the Champions League mostly thanks to one man, as for the Premier League they are probably fighting for 4th spot is that good enough ? for a Team of Uniteds pedigree i think not, no there are not many available managers out there, but when United do decide to change they will pretty well have a choice of whoever they want after all how many Teams are bigger than Man Utd ?, which brings me full circle in saying 4th spot and Champions League group stages isnt good enough, but Hey give me Wolves or 16 other PL Teams in that position and i/they would snap your hands off but i guess its all about perceptions.

I refer the right honourable gentleman(you) to his original post!

I once read somewhere a commentary on influence, it went something like this.

Put a good apple in a barrel of bad apples and the bad won't go Good,
Put a bad apple on a barrel of good Apple's often the good Apple's end up bad!

Just got back from the Wolves game which was a hard fought win against West Ham who seemed to have little attacking intent in the first 60 minutes.

Useless Pinoy sat TV. Looking foreword to the Chelsea game and they showed a replay of Liverpool game. I paid a whopping P200 for a month for that. Better have the City game on tonight.

I did, I had an iptv TV service from London it was good for football and F1 and had all the sky channels and some TV series. At P8,000 annually but a lot of buffering at peak times.

I watched the Leicester-Chelsea game live on BT Sport. Very handy as it comes included in my broadband deal.

On the other side of the spectrum I tried to enjoy the highlight of the Liverpool and Man Utd games, but I sincerely didn't.
A slick and fast Liverpoll made Arsenal look absolutely way inferior on the day, and it seems that the days of the "invincibles" are well over...
Manchester United on the other hand, are looking for scapegoats, and although Ronaldo does bring a few needed goals in, he also is the premier instigator in some kind of silent player revolt. He does like being the sole primadonna .. And by his default temperamental, dummy spitting, setting he will not allow anyone else to upstage him .
The current manager, should grow a pair, and lay the law down to all players concerned. One cannot try to appease so many different and arrogant personalities, but control them firmly like "Fergie" used to, or flog them to obscurity if they don't conform.
