More details of the royal wedding have been released by Clarence House.

Kate Middleton and her immediate family will spend the night before the wedding at the five-star Goring Hotel in Belgravia, central London.

Clarence House also revealed the exact timings of the big day, and the route of the carriage procession.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry has joined Miss Middleton for a wedding rehearsal at Westminster Abbey, where she will marry Prince William on 29 April.

Harry is best man to his brother, the second in line to the throne, and plays an important role in the ceremony

With the late Easter and the Royal Wedding it means we will have four public holiday in 11 days. Next year, the late May bank holiday moves to the 4th June and there is an additional bank holiday on 5th June to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. If you want more bank holidays, move to Scotland before St. Andrews Day and then move back to England after the 2nd January.

Once upon a time I barely knew what bank holidays were as I worked pretty much all the time, bank holidays just meant that my customers didn't want me on site but didn't mean I would not be working.

Now I wish I was at home in Scotland but sadly that is not possible anymore.

I just wish I had more available time like the the old days, I used to work about 170 days a year for about 1.3x what I earn now. The current situation is more predictable but much harder work and hence I care about public holidays these days :)

Took a days holiday off work last week, so now every week is a short week for the rest of this month:)

Now we just need Prince Harry to marry someone, though I doubt he will get anything near to a national holiday:D

    Yes oss, very nice pictures.
Last weekend we went to Barcelona. Wonderful weather, wonderful food, great hotel and great time. We plan to go again, a weekend is just too short.

I'd never been to Spain before, having spent most of my life living alone I never used to go anywhere.

My pal invited me out to Spain last year for a weekend but then Ana arrived in the UK unplanned at the start of the year and we didn't find out till too late that she could have gone with me as she would have been fine on her Korean passport. Plus I was broke after Ana arrived so we couldn't afford the extra ticket, in the end neither of us went, I couldn't have left her alone in the UK.

It was a real shame as she would have loved Spain.

This year my pal was renting this place

his wife is unwell so they go to Spain for 6 months every year as the climate improves her condition.

I went the weekend before that Friday night to Monday night, weather was great, really surprised how cool it was I was expecting Philippine temperatures but it was really nice mid 20's centigrade.

I would love to get a chance to see some of the major historic cities in Spain, maybe one day.
