    Hello po.
i am new here and i really need help.
My husband and i got married last december here in uk and until now we havent registered it to the phil embassy in london.
We are not sure if its possible to just send the documents there or if we need to personally visit the embassy.
We are not living near london and my husband do have work on weekdays as well so we are having a hard time to deal with it

i cant go there all by myself too
can you please tell me if we can just send it thru post or its not an option
    thank you so much!

I think you have to make time and pop down to London.

Is it a tourist visa or a MARRIAGE VISITOR VISA?

whoops. was it a marriage visit visa ?

if it was a general visit visa--then someone has slipped up somewhere.

Whether you ask to visit for one week you will be given 6 months visa but you are not allowed to marry on a visit visa :frust:

Im not really sure of the total implications of getting married on a visit visa. I mean in respect to re-applying with the correct visa at a later date. Tough one that!!!

Really? You were definitely on a visit visa? What does the home office letter say exactly?

Are you sure you are on a visit visa? No idea how you were able to marry really. If it was referred to the Home Office while you are giving notice you should have been stopped.
