And I forgot what an amazing pop band they were:like:

And back in the day, like about 10 years ago or so I (like most men I knew at the time) fancied the lead singer Andrea Corr like crazy. In fact, give that woman a tan and she could easily pass as a Filipina - I think:)

I remember being sat at the front row of the Apollo watching The Corrs in concert with my old friend Steve Powell and he was sat there in awe of Andrea Corr:)

    Good times....

I don't know why, but I never regarded girl groups as worthy of listening to,
as their music, by and large, is manufactured and they themselves never had any input in any lirycs.
They seem to spend time singing catchy tunes, and using their sexy bodies as a prop to hide how bad they really are.
I like real musicians, that write lirycs and music of their own, and singers that can use their voices effectively alone, and not being a number in a bunch,
just hoping that the cacophony generated will pass muster.
As a Choir, Church or otherwise, they would be ok, I reckon....:D

    But to each His/her own.

I know for a fact that everytime Girls aloud or Spice Girls, come over the car stereo, I duly change channel or switch off altogether.
I suppose I am becoming grumpier as I age gracefully......

The Corrs wrote much of their own stuff, and the one man in the group - Jim Corr was an active producer on not just their own records but for other people... As well as being completely nuts to boot.. Rock & Roll :D
