So we recently got denied a visa for the following reason

They didn't believe we was a couple and she would not leave the county at of her stay.

So this is what we supply document wise now to fix the above.

    From her
    Passport copy
    Letter of employment
Letter of leave for the duration.
    Payslips
Bank statements of payroll account and saving accounts.
    Nbi clearance.
Letter of leave from her employment for the duration of stay.

    From me
    Letter of invitation and sponsorship
    Passport copy
Passport copy of my visa stamps I was there.
Copy of my alien card with her address on it.
Bank statements and mini bank statement.

Maybe a few photos from instagram that are time stamped.

    From her cousin
Letter of invitation for 2 weeks at her place

Thank you all of you who ha help on the other threads.

Can any one suggest any thing else to add to this

I don't have any experience in this, but I would have thought it suspicious that her employer would grant her leave for as long as 3 months.

They should've just said she'd be staying for a couple of weeks and still stay for up to 6 months once visa is granted.

May I ask how would look suspicious for her company. They wouldn't give it her the leave if they wasn't sure she be come into back to them. It was a pain to get with all the evidence they needed haha

A three month leave is common in the Philippines and companies honour that as a sabbatical leave. I did that when I had to go to the US for an exam.

    That

That makes no sense she will be going back to her job when she goes back to the Philippines so over staying would just get her fired.

@court95 What documents did you provide or did not that made them think she won't return to the Phil?

If they do not believe you to be a couple then provide proof like chat logs, emails, calls, etc.

Yep that what we've done we've gotten the letter of leave stating the date of leave till the date she must return for the time allocated. And we can easily prove our relationship. So

Not suspicious for her company, for the UK immigration officer reviewing the visa application. I have read that people have resigned from their jobs in Philippines because their company would not agree to more than 1 or 2 weeks leave. 3 months seems a lot of leave. It may well be the case that it does sometimes happen for sabbaticals for overseas exams, but I would suggest that may not be well understood by the immigration officer reviewing the application. As I said I have no personal experience, just what I have read on here and other forums.

To leave her company would shoot any chances of getting it. Or any person for that fact. But I understand what your saying. So even tho we have the letter of approval of leave from the company my backwards embassy still wants more.

I don't see how I'll be handing it to them.

She gotten the leave from the company for the duration and proof she has ties back to the country which she worked with since she 18.
