There is no longer a resident cat in our PI compound. Great as I do not like Cats.

Now I am told we have RAT's.......

I cannot take my JackRussell ratter there :-( the cost is c£2,000

Please advise on the best ? way to rid the place of RAT's :frust: We are on a river bank and have livestock and grain store outside.

I would get some cats if I were you! They seem to keep the rats away from my inlaws livestock/rice stores.

You can always buy a Jack Russel overthere......... May not have a pedigree, but just as good for ratting.............

As a slight aside I notice Singers you say it'll cost £2000 to get your dog over there. When we go to the phils next year the wife wants to take our dog but I'm struggling to find any info on the process and costs. Have you got any leads (ahem)?

I like cats, not so fond of dogs though.

Cats in Manila though :erm: never seen one that was well fed, all scrawny starvin looking things and I would feel guilty keeping one that was well fed, I would find that hard to reconcile mentally with the image of the many hungry people I see there.

No wonder you now have rats - the cat is no longer there!
