Hey guys, so my visa application was successful, I'll be going to pick it up next week, however I've got a question regarding leaving the Philippines.

Simply put, once I have my visa and acr card, if I were to leave Philippines, for a holiday or to visit family in the UK, how long could I be gone for?

OK Gary..Pretty certain that you will have to visit immigration and tell them about your plans to travel..Let us know what they tell you.
Had you been a permanent card holder,I would not seen an issue for you to report to them about an extended travel time.. I have known guys with permanent visas that have left well in excess of one year..
We have to report to immigration in the first 3 months of each year as permanent residents...If we report late,we will pay a fine for each month we are late..etc..
    Hope you get my point.
