Tried looking for other services when we were on the payment process. There's no VIP service option in the drop down menu. I guess because there's no queue in Cebu like I mentioned in my previous posts to another thread that it only took me 15 minutes including inspection outside the office. The good security guard helped me with my heavy papers because my friend who carried half of it wasn't allowed to enter the office.

You know I was thinking last week about the whole visa process, the service provided by the UKBA in general is pretty poor leaving people like ourselves worried and stressed when it could be relatively stress free if they got their act together. Right to the end of the process where I was struggling to pay for the visa online, makes me wonder if they do it on purpose.

The thing I would like to see more than anything is a dedicated phone line set up by the UKBA to answer any questions relating to your visa application. A telephone line that is sufficiently manned with well trained staff who know all the ins and outs of the process. You know at the end of the day to get us through to the ILR we will have paid 4 - 5k for a stressful and lousy service.

Will the UKBA make things easier for us?

    Not on your Nelly! :(
