A great thing I've found about Filipino people is their self deprecating humour, kind of similar to British humour in that respect

Jolibee, it's a burger, they are all as bad as each other after a while I stopped eating burgers when my 8 year old daughter decided back in 1994 that she did not want to eat them any more due to the BSE scare, we were Burger King fans at the time.
It is funny Kuya, I liked all three pictures And you are right the garlic rice is nice but there are much better restaurants Tokyo Tokyo are better for a start!
Ok, it's not exactly Philippine food but it's good and pretty cheap for a food franchise chain. Max's is quite good too and Chow King is not bad.
Tokyo Tokyo? mmmm.. not an authentic Jap food though.. Chowking is okay... i live their tokwa't baboy... and Max's! love their chicken and kare-kare!
Probably not authentic but the Chicken Teriaki is not a million miles from what we can get in a very expensive Jap restaurant in the UK, definitely not the same, but nice for what it is. Their Shrimp Tempura is good too, as is some of their sushi.
I like Chow King. Given the opportunity I always prefer that. I just love their Halo Halo. Almost the best ever. Found a really great Halo Halo in Cebu at one of the malls, can't remember the name exactly, but it was a specialst ice cream place. Something like Castle Ice Cream House. I know it had Castle in the name. Anyway best Halo Halo I ever had.
