    I've been told I am now successfully registered but as a foreginer my SIM should have expired by now, even though I have had it since at least 2015, I've taken a chance in loading 500 peso just in case it stays valid long enough for my upcomming trip.

    This law is a dumb law just more bad legislation and you are right it will backfire on them.

    Well at least the construction industry will benefit... building the new prison accommodation soon to be needed for all of those wicked people breaking the associated law. :erm:
