Hi Just going through the financial requirements for the spousal visa. My payslips are not hardcopies, but are stored online for me to look at and print. I have printed off the last six months, but this is just on normal A4 paper, would this suffice or would you say that my company needs to sign or stamp the printouts. Had a look around on google and some people have been ok and some required a stamp / signature. I will be submitting bank statements also. Just wondering if any one else submitted payslips this way? Cheers Andy
Get them stamped and signed by your line Manager just to be on the safe side, cant go wrong then. You will be submitting 6 months of bank statements to coincide with them so no worries. Try to submit original bank statements too.
Best way, I had a bit of bother trying to get my online statements stamped at NatWest, as in they refused to do it, I ended up ordering six months worth of statements and submitted those without the need for them being stamped and certified by the issuing bank.
As you will find, its a lot of work amassing all the required documentation, frustrating sometimes, you will have one or two little hurdles to overcome I'm sure but its all worth it in the end.
Hi For us, my partner's company also stores payslips online and so we printed out hard copies and submitted those without problems. They were not signed or stamped, just printed out from the company network. If you can let your company sign it, much better. For bank statements, again we use online banking so we printed them out, however we also went to our respective banks and got the statements stamped on each page by the bank as confirmation that they are real representations of our accounts. We bank with Halifax and lloyds and both were happy to do it. One time a teller was confused and thought she couldn't but then a manager corrected her, they are fine to provide this service if you explain its for UK visa requirement. We did try to order bank statements but it took them a long time to provide it, some of them didn't turn up at all. Goodluck! And hope you get your documents sorted soon.
As dane says, some banks stamp your statements, I started a thread on the very subject a while back just before I applied for the visa; http://www.british-filipino.com/ind...d-at-natwest-the-bank-us-tax-payers-own.8903/
Thanks dane I will try and get my employer to sign / stamp the payslips, just in case. For the bank statements, the bank (Barclays) will send me the last 6 months through the post, as the nice lady at the bank said they need to be ordered. The documents are coming along nicely, thanks to this forum
