I must preface this post it's a rant!

My wife has recently flow with the kids to the Philippines, not before the admittely short but pointless two-step excerise with the OHP & e-HDC system.

First you must register, fill out a form & save a QR code. For every passenger individually (including babies!) before you fly.

On the day of depature, you must fill in the very same form again for every passenger - quoting the transaction number you obtained from the first time you filled out the form. Once again, given a QR Code.

We took screenshots of every QR code & number after learning from friends, you won't recieve an email confirmation with the details.

For three passengers, we showed 6 seperate screenhots of QR Codes to both boarding and arrival.

We're all vaccinated and did require proof of this, understandably.

Oof. It'll be my turn in a few weeks to do the same :)

Yeah it is a pain in the backside, note that at least back in May this year there were numerous venues that required to see your One Health Pass in order for you to be granted entry, some required only your national vaccination document.

Note I believe that the mask mandate outdoors has now been lifted and masking is now voluntary in country, I asked my son about this this morning.

As an unvaxed individual with a need to travel occasionally in and out of the Philippines,it is possible through Cebu with a PCR test and a 5 days quarantine in a Mactan hotel.
Absolutely ridiculous regs I know but at least doable during these draconian times.
