    Hi,
How can I obtain a flight itinerary without any payment? Is dummy ticket from keyflight.io really acceptable? Cos my partner doesn’t really trust it, and might be treated as a fake document.
This is a part of the fiance visa requirement by the way, but I don’t want to spend anything for it since the actual flight will be after visa approval.

Proof of genuine relationship is most important, flight itinerary or and even tickets prove nothing other than you have flown to a country you could be visiting anyone! Review this link for what is needed to prove that you are eligible

https://london-immigrationlawyer.co...ps you, relationship for the qualifying period.

    Hi,

Do not book any ticket just to show that you have itinerary. The HO would like to know when and where is the wedding(marriage) will take place speak to your local register if the wedding will be on this place. Ask a confirmation letter with your name and your partner about the wedding and also better book your wedding reception hotel etc.. ask for the booking confirmation to confirm that would be a wedding happening on that date. I know everything is a risks applying fiance visa but the HO would like to check and assess that the relationship is genuine. You better give all the documents, history etc.

Have you got a link to where there is a requirement for a flight itinerary?

I ask because it has never been a requirement in the past so would imply it is a new one. Historically the line from UKVI has been do not book flights until have visa and I doubt anyone on the site has booked tickets in advance of getting visas due to the risk of refusal.

We did marriage visit visa and spouse visa, never provided any information on flights and also only booked flights after getting the visas which was a good thing as spouse visa took longer than the advertised processing time so flights would not have been of much use.

I have used onwardticket.com when I went to Philippines for 3 months but had to show return ticket in 30 days. It cost £10 or so and lasts for 24 hours. It is ligit and works a treat. If you look on any flight web site after you’ve booked it shows you have the flight. It’s a must for backpacking when you don’t know how long you want to stay in one country.

The OP refers to a flight itinerary for a fiancé visa and it is not a requirement.
    Good info for backpackers though.

It's just a dummy ticket. some people posted that they submitted an itinerary, so I just follow what they did. I don't know why but it seems useless to my thinking.

probably posted talking about a Schengen visa application or a where certainly for Schengen countries their websites suggest a flight itinerary and hotel itinerary is required for a visit visa. Never seen it requested as part of the UK visit visa process, pretty worthless anyway as its a small price to pay( ticket fare) if your going to do a runner once in the UK!

Agree. Not a requirement for UK visit or settlement visas and UKVI guidance has always been do not book tickets in advance of visa issue.

That said if in future want to go to Europe it is a requirement for Schengen visas.
