The former Wolves manager Nuno Espirito Santo has become the new manager of Spurs. When Nuno first came to Wolves he got us playing in a very attractive and succesful style and this continued for the first two Premier League seasons, however this past season due in no small way to injuries of our top goal scorer and the selling of our other top goal scorers who were never replaced, we struggled badly and were lucky not to be involved in the relegation dogfight, the style of play became boring and in almost every game we only seemed to play for one half (usually the second) of games, this led to some supporters using the terms rope a dope and Nunoball due to lack of intensity in most games. However as a man there is no finer man in the game today as an example Nuno gave £250,000 to help with the epidemic and help local foodbanks.
I wish him well at Spurs and hopefully he can create an attacking team and iron out the defensive frailities that often let Spurs down at important times, its a big job he has taken on down there i hope he is given the time to sort them out and get them some silverware to match that lovely new stadium that they have.

Yes... "our top goal scorer and the selling of our other top goal scorers who were never replaced, we struggled badly" sort of deja vu coming up if Kane leaves...

Do you think Kane might end up at Chelsea if they cannot sign Halland?

I think Nuno appears to be a good genuine man however is he dynamic enough for the Spurs stars and their fans and will he get his transfer targets?
    I wish him luck

There is a deal of negativity with Spurs fans following his appointment. I guess we were all expecting another big name coach to take over, and feel a bit underwhelmed with Nuno. Still, it is what it is, and we Spurs fans must get behind him in rebuilding our team.

An interesting season lies ahead in 21/22 with all the manager changes that have gone on!
Can Ole better being runners up, can Pep rebuild and go again, Tommy Tuchel at Chelsea how will he do? Liverpool will they build and have a better season.

Can Leicester finally get that elusive top four spot that they have missed out on over the last four seasons ?. Back to Nuno i feel that he really has taken on a difficult task, obviously its pretty certain that he wasnt first choice, he has previously said that he prefers a small squad yet to make top four you really need a big squad which is where the big teams have an advantage, as Leicester have recently found out to there cost, I really hope Nuno can bring some success to Spurs but its a big step from Managing Valencia, Porto and Wolves to managing down in London with the National Press/Radio constantly putting Teams in the spotlight, another thing that i will say about Nuno is that he is loyal to his players until they cross him, then there is no way back and they will be moved on. Im really interested to see how he will take on this role because Spurs are and have always been known as an attacking team, but Nuno has always previously been defensively minded in short Mourinho mark two, and remember he played under Jose for a number of years. I do think he will bring in some Portuguese players because he and Mendes are very good friends and obviously Jorge will want to help Nuno out, Ronaldo anyone ;).
