Isn't it funny how newspapers and media always get over-excited with the Premier League table?
They constantly comment on the situation especially teams in the top 10 - who's going to win the title
There's only been about 9 games gone and every team must play 38 games this season
    It's a marathon, not a sprint.
Column inches sell newspapers and comments online get attention for their sponsors.

Briefly Chelsea was on top.. Now in third place with a very good chance to continue on the same path as the injuries don't seem to a major hurdle at the moment, unlike other teams.
Everton lost a bit of momentum but I reckon they will end up making Europe in one way or other.

I hope you're right, Dom :like:
Of course, it would not be a shock if Chelsea get into Europe again but it will be a sign that Everton are improving under CA.

I never look at the Scottish table or results.

I have nothing against the Scots but it has always been that way for me :erm: (and my father when I was young) but, strangely, I look at the Scottish National side and take an interest in them.

    I don't know why.

Me too. I have never taken a lot of interest in Scottish football. But I do take an interest in what Steven Gerrard is doing with Rangers.

I'm surprised how poor Man City are playing, I stopped up late watching them at Spurs, very disappointed. Maureen played 6 at the back (park the bus) then hit City with counter attacks. I expected Maureen would do that.

It was a tactical masterclass. When questioned by a reporter about City's greater share of possession and number of shots etc, Mourinho replied "They can take the ball home for all I care, we got the 3 points" COYS

The good thing about this season is that there are not two teams dominating things.
It's just a pity that the crowds are not present to enjoy the fun.

Pep, never learns it was obvious what Mourino was going to do. Other teams have done this and won against Man City, not like it was the first time.

If Everton beat City today (I don't think this will happen) I will sit up and really take notice, but I predict City will win especially with Everton having so many of their best players out injured: James Rodriguez (calf), Allan (hamstring), Lucas Digne (ankle) and Richarlison (concussion).
