Besides one of my sprogs is doing a roaring trade by buying discontinued laptops, bringing them back to useful life with upgrades and new bits. Every room in his place, and the garage, is piled of boxes full of the damn things.
Just paid 10,000 pesos on a laptop repair, new keyboard and screen. I went ballistic when she told me the price. Could have put that money towards a new one.
