On UK tv we see the new trash of the extensions of the eventual Orgasm to online marriage - will the Philippines adapt to our changing world? I was surprised to see on Netflix yesterday a film Donde Caben Dos which said a lot about this societal change……. I am currently learning Spanish for that inevitable place in the sun …….
Naked attraction is anything but, the program is rubbish TV for those who like Love Island, Big Brother and similar "Reality" TV programs (all scripted).
Pinas is very contradictory with its morality, but no, not in a long time, the church still has massive respect and I can't see them condoning such a ludicrous program, though vice ganda would probably like to host it
Well with all its morality the actual lives of Filipinos on the face of it appear very good, don’t they? But…….. the big but ……. The church is a mask isn’t it? it hides the cracks, doesn’t it, and again Isn’t it the hypocrite, itself? The errant family member, who makes babies with multiple partners, the number of Filipinos living outside marriage, etc etc surely the Philippines is not so different than other countries, is it?
The Philippines is certainly no different, large amounts of illegitimate children, known for prostitution, known for corruption, but the church absolves you of your sins on a Sunday for a small payment
i'm sure if filipinos could divorce there would be a lot less living over the brush. Seems the norm for husband to check out of the marriage and family and shack up elsewhere.
Most Catholic religion countries are contradictory with morality. Its a case of do what I say not what I do. I worked in Malta many years ago, a staunchly Catholic place, and affairs and flings were a common thing, its was openly bragged about. As for Naked Attraction, eww, put some clothes on, we don't wanna see your dangly bits.
I always take it as an accepted brainwashing cult, go watch the crucifixions at San fernando then tell me I am wrong.
UK Please explain: "On UK tv we see the new trash of the extensions of the eventual Orgasm to online marriage". Philippines. In my opinion, the Philippines is already on it's way to being more free and liberal. Any walk through Manila, Cebu City or any other city in the Philippines will show that change has taken place as it has done all around the world but slower than many countries. It is relative. When I was last in Cebu City in 2013, I wanted to buy my wife sexy lingerie but we couldn't find any in the larger department stores. She was amazed to see much prettier things to wear in the shops of Bangkok a week later - we all know that Thailand is much more liberal than the Philippines. Change in the province is slower, though. When my wife goes back to her village in the province, she wears more conservative clothes to stop any gossip. Swingers. It seems to me that sexuality changed in the "swinging sixties". Spain took longer to be more liberal than the UK as they were under the more repressive Franco regime but Catholicism is a common denominator in the Philippines and Spain. Swingers and such-like have been common in Spain for many years now.
Swinging is a thing in the Philippines, people advertise online for well endowed guys to fornicate while they watch, the husbands fetish or the wife's I don't know Also seen sex toys and a vendor with hard core porn on a tiny TV in baclaran market, clearly visible. Thailand is far more progressive, doesn't have the Catholic hang-up
Things seemed to have changed. I hope the porn on TV wasn't in full view in case children were walking nearby?
It was in full view of anyone glancing in the direction of the screen, the guy wasn't bothered about causing offence, his 20 peso in the church coffer on Sunday would solve that issue, pay to play (DVD's).
*NO SPOILER* Saw that movie last night (It is called "More The Merrier" for English speakers). Quite good and very funny at times.
