I just been filling in the visa4uk spouse application with the wife and got as far as her signing the declaration and today off all days she goes and has a power cut now im wondering what will happen with the application is it submitted, saved or do we start again.What a start to the weekend.

Nightmare!! Hope all is saved but I guess this isn't the first time The Phils Authorities would have come across this problem? If you do have to go through it all again then maybe worth adding an accompanying email to highlight what happened to the first application. Keep us up to date with what happened please. Good luck.

I think (this is just what I think, from memory) the website saves it as far as you have got with it.

I have never used it but as already stated, it should save the last action that you performed.

Success i got back on and completed the application and paid for the ihs and visa.

I just printed off the application and payment details,while i booked the time and appointment at the vfs i have no print off of the booking do i have to go on the vfs website and book again.

Incidentally we booked the premium service but VfS denied this and charged twice.

How could they charge you twice if you printed off the original booking and shown them ???

Based on my experience, It automatically saved the changes I made even if i didn't click the save button.
