Why musicians or actors don't stick to what they know best and stay out of politics??

It seems to be a common thing amongst the celebrity sphere to interfere verbally or otherwise with nations internal affairs without reading up on the subject or just trying to be controversial for the sake of publicity.

:D... isn't that how or why a lot of it all started? I don't suppose we'd ever have had Bob Dylan or Shakespeare, to name but two, if they had.

Some celebrities and/or musicians have inflated egos and like to be in the news.
Bono and Sinead O'Connor were two of the worst in this respect.
I admired Roger Waters on his pro-Palestine stance.
It all depends on whether you agree or disagree with the subject.

What rogers said was exactly right. Neo Nazis far right Azov Regiment kept killing pro Russian citizens.

Zelenskyy should have stopped the far right Fascist when he took leadership in 2014.

They have adulation, people hang onto their every word as entertainers, but the real world is far different, I was at a march a few weeks ago when Diane Abbot and the rapper Stormzy shared a microphone

Even so. Zelenskyy had time to sort the problem out instead of inflaming it. The former president before him also could have sorted it out.

I don't know what the real truth is/was in Ukraine.
    Too much fake news.

I have a friend who lives in south Russia who has family and friends that live in East Ukraine. He keeps me informed and sends me videos and photos of Ukrainian murderer's torturing and killing innocent pro Russian's.
I agree, there is fake news but this from a Russian who I personally know, and he tells me how it is.

Whilst respecting your friend and friendship, which I thing has gone back years, I cannot help thinking that those videos of torture and murder could have been planted by the russians themselves as a false flag, like others we have seen recently to sow discord and nurture minds

I doubt it, Ukrainians speaking Ukraine, Russians speaking Russian and the Fascist Ukrainian with the proudly tattoo Swastika on their body. This was filmed years ago before the invasion.

There are thousands of people, in Europe, in America sporting swastika tattos and bearing arms.. Do we invade those countries to allegedly de-nazify them? Do we bomb the lot, killing numerous innocent civilians in the hope of hitting one bad apple?
Sorry, but I am of the opinion that putin is a war criminal and not because the media say so. He has been planning for years
