I hope people stop and think for a minute before donating their hard-earned. Bribery is a criminal offence which means that any allegations should be made to the Police who investigate and then pass the file to the Crown Prosecution Service for action (or dismissal). And government lawyers have ensured that the Confidence and Supply Agreement with the DUP does not in any way compromise the British Government's role in the Northern Ireland Peace Process.

I suspect that you have started this thread as another means of attack against the Conservative Government and those who might support it here. So I'll take this opportunity of reminding you that in 2010 Gordon Brown and then in 2015 Ed Miliband both courted the DUP with equal magnanimity; there was no talk of endangerment to the NI peace process then and that there is now is simple mischief-making by spurned courtesans!

What's the difference between what Teresa May has done with the DUP and what Hamilton did in the cash for questions incident?

Join me in fighting this unlawful action by our Government in buying the DUP votes to keep it in power, a move that is in direct violation of its rigorous impartiality required by the Good Friday Agreement.

The Tories are being propped up by the DUP in order to cling to power after the recent election. This horrifies me. It's straight bribery – money for votes. The deal flies in the face of the Good Friday Agreement, under which the Government is obligated to exercise its power with 'rigorous impartiality' on behalf of all the people in the diversity of their identities and traditions. The Government is threatening hard won peace with their pact with the reactionary DUP.

I wish to hold the Government to account for their actions through the Courts in a judicial review. My claim is that as a citizen I expect my Government to honour its obligations under the Good Friday Agreement and not to bribe others with money so that it can stay in power. My lawyers have put these points to the Government. They eventually responded failing to meet deadlines they set themselves. Nothing they said addresses the fundamental issues behind this corrupt deal. It means that I am pressed to issue proceedings to resolve these issues. I need funds to meet the costs of doing so.

The Rule of Law and our democracy are at stake in this case. It is left to individuals like myself to assert the Rule of Law and our democracy. If these actions go unchallenged the values we hold as democrats are greatly diminished.

No offence has been committed and certainly no criminal charges have been brought. The government has simply agreed for an uplift in public spending in Northern Ireland. This is for the benefit of everyone living and working in the Province, regardless of their party affiliation.

"Breaking news"???? Talaga?!! Where is it "breaking"?

"Its the same legal team that brought the article 50 challenge" - I very much doubt it. Bindmans formed Gina Miller's legal team for her challenge and are one of the most expensive law firms in the country. The target set for crowd funding is just £20,000: that paltry sum wouldn't even cover the hourly rates for a Bindmans team to consider the case let alone actually do anything resembling work on the case.

This sounds like an issue you'd support - but perhaps not enough to part with any real cash: your name does not appear on the list of donors.

Would you be so keen to test the lawfulness of a deal done between Gordon Brown and the DUP or between Red Ed and the DUP? Of course you wouldn't! And do you really think that if any of the extra funding had been ear-marked for Green projects that this politician would still be hoping to challenge it? Pure self-interest at play here by someone who's not prepared to put his money where is mouth is - unlike Gina Miller!

In fact, the law firm that is representing the fund raiser is Edwin Coe LLP, a City firm of commercial law lawyers with no apparent experience of either constitutional or criminal law: they did NOT act for Gina Miller in her Article 50 case. Although not as high-profile as Bindmans, £20,000 will not cover their fees or expenses but it might go some way to covering the VAT element.

Didn't take me long, a couple of seconds at most :)
