Hi. My fiancee, a belgian, and i are planning to marry next yr here in the phils. We want to prepare everything as early as possible, so we did some inquiries.
One of the requirements needed is the legal capacity which can only be applied here by my fiancee according to the municipal staff who assisted me. What i want to know is, whats legal capacity and how many days is the processing? Is there any docs needed also by him for the application in the embassy of belgium here in the phils?

Need informations and advice, so we'll know what to do. Many thanks. :)

It seems to be pretty straightforward and without unnecessary hassle...:like:

The link is from the Belgian Government website, so it will be pretty kosher and up to date.
Your fiancee' will need to get in touch with the various embassies or consulates involved at some stage.

Wish all the best for the future.

Hi Tin! Try to visit the link posted by Dom.:like:

Ask for a list of requirements to marry a foreiner from local municipality.

Then sort it out little by little until you all have it.
Please be patient as there are load of things to do.:erm:

    You'll get there for sure!

    Goodluck my friend!
