a friend of mine was married and divorced in UAE. their documents never reach any authenticating authorities in the uae nor Philippines embassy. what will be her status in Philippines as there's no record of such. if she wants to marry in the uk shall these document necessary to submit? ( as there's no record in Philippines) or she needs only clearance under Philippine law.? she is not in UAE since 2008.

I reckon that she needs a CENOMAR, from NSO, if that comes clear, then there is no problem.

If she is marrying in the Philippines, as long as the CENOMAR says that she is single, it should be fine because they will not recognize the divorce.

If she is marrying in the UK, maybe it is wise to show the divorce papers? I'm just iffy why the papers did not reach any authenticating agency?

she is so obedient to her ex before, she love him so much that she believe on him even he says white is black. she was told by the man not to speak at the court during questions. all she knows that they have witnesses and she was ask to sign into logbook in Arabic outside the mosque. she was given a passport like document in Arabic and her ex said it was a marriage contract. then she lived in his house and never see civilization since then. after months of being married, the man starts to play around and until she decided to work to survive.

until they have an argument with her ex in laws and they told her that their marriage is only here (UAE) just to be legal of living together in one roof because UAE is muslim country. that's why they never advice them to register it anywhere. 1996 being more than a year being outside Philippine she don't know anything regarding registration. even now, she is so quite and get to know me and share her story which now I am sharing with you.

I am sure that marriage has no record in Philippines, is uk still will check on that? what I know is her clearance is only from her country of origin . because she is not connected with uae anymore. I am not sure. that's why I am collecting advice. I cannot tell her until I am sure of my answer.

NSO is not reliable...ah ..ah.. for my personal experience. it put me in lots of trouble. see my post in legal immigration forum( settlement denied) arrrgggghhh.hhhhheeeeeellllllppppp
