Lots of people will snub the event on a host of different reasons, and, mainly, prices will be the dominant factor in this ill conceived venture.

I for one, object to pay such astronomical prices to watch something which used to be free.

And if the latest about water and food prices are correct, then I am afraid, even less people will turn out on spec even to catch a glimpse of their favorite athletes.

I normally encounter this exorbitant prices when I go on the show circuit for work, and I am well versed in scavenging for deals, as usually we all know each other from old, but the situation in London is very different.
Someone got the catering franchise stitched up and calls the shots.
Security, especially with water, has very little importance, compared to massive profits to be made over the couple of weeks.

I did have a half baked idea to take my lot down to London for the day, you know, picture, picture... But the Barrio Fiesta will have to do, for this year...

I will be glad when the whole thing is over... I know, grumpy git and all:rolleyes:

It's just, I can't wait for the immigration services to get back to normal.. Though sadly right now that normal is understaffed and overworked :(
