Well, it's been just over a year since my last ""Hottest" list, so here is the countdown for 2013.... Often this list is about who seems to see a lot of media too, but hopefully some on the list will surprise some of you.. Anway.... 10. Nicole Scherzinger In my mid teens the entire country fell for a lady called Nicole, but all she ever did was drive around in a little car calling for Pappa.. Since then, the UK has been crying out for another Nicole to fall collectively in love with and perhaps we have found it in the rather impressively beautiful and talented Nicole Scherzinger. In fact, so impressive is Miss Scherzinger, some former Atheists found religion after viewing images of this lady's rather naked derrière... 9. Mila Kunis Last years number one.. So why the big drop? Well, without make up it seems that Mila just isn't as amazing as some others on this list, as seen with recent puffy faced paparazzi pictures. Still, she scrubs up well as we like to say up north.. 8. Vanessa Hudgens Though I've included Vanessa Hudgens in my previous year list, I've yet to see her in any of her movies!! But the Daily Mail seems to publish pictures of her every single day, so of course she gets another listing.. 7. Grace Park As Kona Kalakaua in the remake of Hawaii Five-0, Grace Park puts the Y in SEXY. Her character is a former surfing champion turned Police Officer, thus many a scene will feature Grace Park hitting the waves in a Bikini. This is American Television at its finest! Think Baywatch, but with better scripts and people who can act - and with cops instead of lifeguards... 6. Jessica Alba It will be a sad day when Jessica Alba drops off of my list! She's not been doing much this year in terms of movies coming to the big screen, clearly motherhood and other ventures seem to be keeping this lady off of our screens, but never a week goes by without news of Ms Alba looking sexy in this or that. 2013 promises to be better for movie goers though, as the sequel to Sin City finally gets released, titled "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For" and of course the sequel to Machete, titled "Machete Kills".. 5. Myleene Klass Ahhh, Myleene. She recently got dumped by her husband and half of the UK's male population all thought the same thing about her husband "What a plonker"! Life on the internet has also gotten better since Myleene became the face and body of Marks and Spencer's Spring and Summer Collection.. Essentially, all of those M&S Google Ads I tend to see on all of the websites and blogs I frequent seem to display Ms Klass in her undies. Perhaps it has something to do with all of my searches on Google for "Myleene Klass Marks and Spencer's underwear".... 4. Anne Curtis Who is Anne Curtis? Well, if you spent a couple of months in the Philippines you would soon know! Model, Actress and general Filipino celebrity. Anne is half Filipino and half caucasian, spent her childhood living in Australia until she was spotted whilst on holiday in the Philippines by a talent scout and she never looked back. Often seen on Philippine evening TV wearing the shortest skirts the Philippine TV censors will allow.. 3. Jenna-Louise Coleman Who is Jenna-Louise Coleman? She's the new companion on Doctor Who, that's who! And as soon as she made an appearance in an episode last year and then the Christmas special, fanboys have lost their crush on the former companion (Karen Gillan) and have fallen for Miss Coleman.. And I can see why 2. Aja Dang I subscribe to quite a few channels on YouTube and it was through subscribing to Clever Movies that I noticed one of their hosts, Miss Aja Dang. At first I could have sworn she was a Filipina, but it turns out she has mixed Chinese, Polynesian and European heritage. She is also a favorite in Maxim magazine, though I'll be honest and admit I didn't know that until I did some research recently... 1. Nina Dobrev Nina Dobrev is the female lead in the TV series "The Vampire Diaries". Though I wouldn't have usually watched that show, given my recent use of Netflix, I've taken to watching entire seasons of random shows in the hope of finding something worth keeping my mind off other matters. And so I discovered The Vampire Diaries and of course - Nina Dobrev.
True! But being on a diet does not forbid one from admiring the menu... ... That and I don't yet have to face a pair of scissors in the morning
Anne Curtiss is number one for me. She's just so attractive, such a quirky SOH and yet so honest. Same as my wife really. Additionally my wife is a great chef, highly organised and very funny. If Anne Curtis can cook I might well become besotted
Not a great cook, but very "sharp" in the repartee department... actually works in the film business, but the other side of the camera - she's an agent. I have an inkling of what it may have been like to be married to Katherine Hepburn... "You look lovely!" "I know; my mother told me, when I was sixteen." "That's a nice dress!" "You can have it, but I'm not sure it will fit." "I need to get to the gym..." "Put it this way, your tits are bigger than mine, Whitey!" "If I bought the clothes you've just suggested, that would be your Christmas present, not mine!" "You can buy me some underwear, but if it is either boring, or too silly, or tasteless, it is going to be framed on the wall, with the title, "The Mind of an Englishman!" "I can't imagine life without you!" "Why bother to try? As her sister in law puts it - "Well, she's OK for you, Andrew, you are a foreigner, so you don't care, but for Filipinos she is too brown and her nose is too flat!" It's an ill wind that blows nobody any good!
Yep, I ignore all others to make sure my wife's red mist doesn't descend. In fact I only looked at the words in this thread :vhappy:
The Green Eyed Monster can be a bit of a problem in a long distance relationship. We talked about it and decided that we trust each other and that is that - this gave rise to an amusing consequence, when some of the other parents at Kay's son's school came round for dinner and someone asked "But - don't feel jealous when you are apart? - What do you do about jealousy?" Kay replied that if the men present wanted to take me to their favourite KTV-Disco (girlie bar)* that would be fine with her...I promptly responded that going to such a place would be no fun without her... so that was exactly what we did - as a group, of course, Kay taking along another female parent in a long distance relationship (a nurse married to a seaman) as well, so they could chaperone each other...the upshot was a fun evening and not an insanely expensive one, as this was "countryside" not somewhere like Angeles or Makati. Kay and her friend Eden entered into the spirit of the occasion by tucking 50 peso bills into garters and "tabling" the dancers whom they particularly admired, and we all came home by jeepney, none the worse. * It should be noticed that none of the men denied going there - without their wives!
