We finally got the kids visas and my wife is flying home to collect them aged 8 and 10. Are there any philippine documents they will need to leave the Philippines with there mum?

Congratulations, personally I guess they should have birth certificates and baptismal certs, but I am only guessing, very interested in the correct answer though!

I would certainly think NSO birth certificates (I know from experience that merely having a passport is NOT, in the eyes of the DFA, evidence that one has actually been born!) will be a good idea.

I think this may be slightly unpredictable, and the more "ammunition" your wife has, the better. Certified opy of your marriage certificate, a letter from you to "whom it may concern" and evidence of UK resident status come to mind, but I don't KNOW the answer.
