My baby is currently at the final gate about to fly home to Manila and then Cebu! God, I'm missing her already but I'm also glad she is finally getting a nice holiday after all we've been through. I'm back in hospital with graft vs host disease, most transplant patients get it after 100 days of getting a stem cell transplant.. But still, what would we do without the ladies in our lives? We'd be miserable, that's what... So in about 3 days Joy should be chomping down on lechon baboy, but for the next 20 plus hours she has quite a trek..
I hope Joy has a really good holiday with her family. The love of everyone there will give her added strength for when she arrives back to be with you again.
Bless her, she was so excited today (as expected) and has now taken off. As she's quite petite, the flight should seem roomy and I'm confident her travels will soon pass by and a Jolybee at Manila airport will be first on her to do list.
Just under two weeks due to work commitments and stuff. She'll land on the 19th and be back in Manchester on the 31st. To save some traveling for her, we've arranged for some of her family from Mindanao to travel to Cebu (plus that's where Tatay is from so he gets a short holiday as well to see his siblings).
She will enjoy the break, even if short. You concentrate on getting better, soon you will be able to fly over too.
