She's VERY famous is The Philippines apparently. And having her perform in London was quite a big thing. (Ask your wives!! ) Anyway, here's my bit of footage from Jennylyn Mercado's concert on Saturday at Hammersmith Town Hall. She was a good performer, but the show was very shambolically put on. And the "Director" clearly decided it was more about making a bit of cash on the side and promoting himself than it was about her, and started projecting pictures of himself looking all "Music director like"onto the screen while she was still singing. She was great though, and happily began chatting with the people there, only for said director to drag her out into the hall to a photo booth so he could charge people a tenner to have their photo taken with her.
