We flew Philippine Airlines Cebu to Manila in 2006, we had gone down to Cebu but hadn't explicitly booked the return, when we tried to book a return they had no seats left on any airline and the lady apologised and said sorry we only have PAL business class, so I asked the price it was about 40 quid each, I couldn't believe it, we had a great flight on a modern aircraft with great service, very good airline.

The first time I used a PAL domestic flight was back in 1991, when the ex and I flew from Manila to Naga City (Camarines Sur in South Luzon). Full fare was 520 pesos each, one way. :D

You could make the same trip on the train in those days for 175 pesos...but took 17 hours for the 250 miles or so. :( I've done that a couple of times.

I heard about lastminute.com/flights .. It is cheaper if you are booking obviously a last minute flight :p

Either way, if you're going to buy a ticket online, I suggest you delete your cookies.
Cookies, I meant the stored data/information in the computer. Google it if you don't know how.

Airlines use those information from online, and they sneakily raise the prices when they see that you have already purchase a ticket. More if you are frequent flier and travel a lot to places deemed as holiday spots.

Also, sometimes it's much cheaper to buy two one-way tickets from two different airlines than to book return from the same airline.

    Just my two cents mate.

One way tickets to the Philippines for us lot are almost always more expensive than the equivalent returns, but yeah clear your browsing history it will help but I am fairly sure they will be tracking enquiry IP addresses as well, a lot of IP addresses are sufficiently static as to be trackable these days.

Use Tor browser, deep net/dark net (Don't do this, I'm just kidding.), IP changer or anonymous connection.

That's what I do when I want to stay obscure.

    Oh and decryption algorithms!

Or just hack them. Free tickets, they have heaps of money anyway!

    Kidding. Kidding.

i believe it's just the photo copy of the credit card needed, not the actual card...but need to look into this, you might be right .

That's perfectly legal and, as you discovered, often results in cheaper tickets for both sections.

Quite simply: from the airline's Philippine web site! Here is Tigerair's which makes quite a bit of money from visitors to the Philippines who buy tickets but never fly!

There is: the child should be in possession of a photocopy of both sides of your credit card.
