Like what the others have already said, Skype uses Microsoft servers. If you could ask the person you are talking to, to send you an email, I can teach you how to get the IP. Or if you know the Facebook, I could help you too. But other than that, you will need to introduce a Trojan. And that's illegal and against my moral code.

I really hope all men online are honest and true to their words....but not all! I started to feel doubt about this person, coz he said he is a busy person and have wholesale jewelry business in europe and USA. At first ....I got impressed! but I got disappointed when we saw each other again on cam thru sype, he still wore same shirt.It means he dont even changed after a day after....and he looked lazy and slappy. It seems he was on the net overnight. Maybe he was just ambitious guy trying to build up himself and trying to sip blood like vampire...lol

A lot of people are liars online. Men or women, does not matter much. You have the veil of anonymity to protect you, most of the time. That's easy. You know his name right? Then ask him what the name of his jewelry business. Google it, and put two-and-two together. Ask him lots of things. Try to build an image of him, a mental map in your mind. When the facts don't connect, press him on. But make it seem that you are just curious and very interested. Did he graduate from university? Where in US and Europe are his shops specifically located at? Is he a divorcee? How many kids does he already have? Does he have LinkedIn? His work history? How many languages does he speak? How does he travel? Ask him for his pictures of his travels. You don't always need to use software and tools to uncover if someone is lying online. Most of the time, that's illegal. Just common sense, good judgement and knowing how the mind works, that is mostly what you need.

To be honest, you have to know what you are doing to be able to reliably detect where someone is from their IP address. You're going to get much better results getting to know the person slowly and finding out information, building a picture of them in your mind, gathering facts and so forth, than making elaborately shaky deductions based on email headers or anything else. Just talk to someone on skype, get to know them, don't exchange money, naked photographs or agree to get married - and the rest will look after itself in time.

I see you want them to understand. Lol. They don't like the idea that you have to go undercover to learn the truth about this guy. I perfectly understand them. If you had to do that surely he's not worth it. Move forward.
