Firstly, thank you for taking the time to read this.

So the time has come to apply for ILR for my wife and step-daughter. When applying for LTR and FLR I recall the online questionnaire asked do you wish to add a child to the application and they were both included in one application. Is this the same for ILR as looking on line it looks like I have to make a completely separate application for my step-daughter. Is this the case?

One other question, does anybody know how long the application can be accessible once started. I just want to get it started now and when the times comes I can just submit.

Can't answer your first question for sure, but as far as accessing the application once started, I believe, as long as you 'log in' to it every couple of weeks - you don't need to actually add/edit anything - it remains 'active'...

You can add your other children to your application if all of the following are true:they have permission to be in the UK as a dependant on your family visa. they'll continue to live with you and be supported by you without using public funds. they're not married, in a civil partnership or living an independent life
